Rachel Cubbage

My name is Rachel Cubbage and I have been working in Dorchester 2 since 2006. I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of committed staff who believe in doing what is best for children. At NES, we have great students, parents, faculty, staff and a supportive community and district.  I have been employed in DD2 since 2006, and I am also a product of the district, having graduated from Summerville High School. I continued my education at College of Charleston for my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and then later attained my master’s degree in elementary administration and supervision from Charleston Southern University. I love being an educator, and the best part of my job is working with the kids. I am committed to helping our kids learn about who they are and preparing them for their future. To help our children be the best they can be, it takes a team. That team is made up of parents, kids, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration. Each child is a precious gift that everyone at NES values and treasures. I look forward to working with you and the entire faculty and staff at NES as we educate the children of today, who will lead the world tomorrow!
