Elisabeth Peters

This will be Elisabeth’s 6th year serving as a School Counselor at Sires, and she has loved every minute of growing relationships with the students, parents, and staff. She received the award of DD2 District Counselor of the Year in 2020, and is dedicated to continuing to work hard to serve all students in their emotional wellness, academic achievement, and career development through classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. Elisabeth is also available for parent and teacher consultations, on how to best meet the needs of children.

She is originally from Clemson, SC where she also attended the university and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and then went on to receive her Master’s and Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education (Go Tigers!). Elisabeth is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Processional Counselor Associate. When she’s not working, she loves spending time at the beach, doing yoga, and trying out all of the different lowcountry cuisine she can find! She’s excited for a new year and is looking forward to working alongside parents and teachers to help all children grow and learn!
