SC Art Education Association Awards Five DDTwo Leaders

On November 13th the South Carolina Art Education Association recognized leaders in arts education in our state who have made extraordinary contributions to the education of the whole child.  Five Dorchester School District Two educators were presented with state awards at the annual conference for their efforts to provide students with quality fine arts education.  It is with pride that we recognize and congratulate these individuals:

NATALIE SCHWIEGER, teacher at ARHS National Art Honor Society Sponsor Award

MEG SKOW, teacher at RMSA received the Dr. Deborah Smith Hoffman Mentor Award

TRIPP ALDREDGE, principal at FDHS was named the 2021 Outstanding Principal of the Year

JASON WALSH, district director of fine & performing arts was named ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR

ELISE HURLEY, teacher at RMSA received the prestigious Mary Whyte Art Education Award for outstanding visual art instruction in SC
