A product of Dorchester District Two Schools, Ebony Summers-Fogel returned to the district after graduating from the College of Charleston in 1999 with a major in English and a minor in secondary education. While teaching English at Summerville High School, she earned her master’s in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. In 2009, she became the district’s High School English Interventionist and worked with English teachers at the three high schools and GAP. She earned an Ed. S. in Leadership in Educational Administration in 2016 because while she loved her job as interventionist, she wanted to work with students again. In 2017, she joined the Ashley Ridge family as an assistant principal where she works in the Prevention and Intervention department. She loves being at AR because of all of the wonderful students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
