I am beyond blessed to be the Assistant Principal at William Reeves Elementary School!  I have been in education since 1995, when I received a degree in Elementary Education from Baptist College of Charleston.  I obtained my Master's Degree  in Elementary Administration and Supervision from Charleston Southern University in 2003.

Throughout my years in education, I have taught 1st, 2nd and 4th grades as a classroom teacher.  My love for reading led me to a reading interventionist position, where I served students from kindergarten through 3rd grade.  Then, I learned amazing things about school and community relations by serving as a Title One Facilitator.  I have been an Assistant Principal in Dorchester District Two since 2011.

I have two grown sons who are my world! My oldest son, Jerry, graduated from Clemson University and lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife.  Hunter is my youngest son and is currently pursuing a degree at The University of School Carolina.  They are as different as the colleges that they decided to attend, but share a love for family and friends!  I am an avid animal lover and have two dogs, who are now my only children in the house!

I firmly believe that you must touch students' hearts, before you can reach their minds!  I look forward to this incredible journey of building relationships with students, parents, staff, business partners and other stakeholders, to make sure our children are ready for the world of opportunity that awaits them!

I am honored to be a part of the Reeves' family!
