My career began as a third-grade teacher in San Antonio, Texas after graduating from Indiana University. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of grade levels at the elementary and middle school level in various states. I have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University, and I am currently pursuing on my Doctor of Education Degree at Concordia University Chicago.
Sand Hill Elementary School has been my home since it opened its doors in the lovely community of Summer’s Corner in 2016. As a curriculum facilitator and literacy coach, each day is an opportunity to work alongside amazing educators who are committed to putting children first. My focus is to empower teachers with a deep understanding of the learning process and the importance of their role in the lives of their students. All children can learn, and at Sand Hill, we strive help students achieve their goals and learn the importance of service to others.
Every day is opportunity to learn, grow, and serve at Sand Hill Elementary School. Go Sandpipers!
