Virtual Academy: Mid-year Placement Process

When enrolling in the Virtual Academy, all parents signed a parent contract committing to the Virtual Academy for an entire school year. Mid-year placements, as stated in the parent contract, will be made on an individual basis pending available space back in the student’s home school. If you would like your child to be considered for a mid-year withdrawal from Virtual Academy, please email your request to the Virtual Academy at to receive an intent to withdrawal form to complete. Intent to withdrawal forms will be made available to parents on November 16th and the deadline to submit the intent to withdrawal is January 8th. Signing this intent to withdrawal does not guarantee your student will be withdrawn. All decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis pending space availability in the physical classroom face-to-face model.
