School Spotlight: Summerville Elementary School

Summerville Elementary School

October was a month full of joy, kindness, and community spirit at Summerville Elementary School. The month began with Unity Week, as students sported their wildest socks for Crazy Sock Day and wore bright orange for Unity Day—reminders to stand together against bullying and celebrate what makes each person unique.

The school also recognized its “Bus Champs,” celebrating buses with no referrals and students who model respect and kindness each day. SES led the district for the second month in a row with the most Positive Referrals, and students who exemplified SAND expectations were honored during the October SANDBlast celebration.

Summerville Elementary extends heartfelt thanks to community partners All-Pro Dads, Beacons, and Leading Ladies for their ongoing support and dedication to students. The month concluded with a fun-filled Fall Festival hosted by the PTA, bringing families together for games, competitions, and plenty of smiles.

Summerville Elementary is proud of its culture of unity, kindness, and community—and grateful for everyone who helps make it shine.
