A TIMELY RESOURCE FOR YOU: The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) published this article, "Supporting Your Gifted Child During COVID-19", in order to provide support for families of academically gifted children who may be experiencing intense feelings associated with the pandemic. Within the contents, it gives techniques to help manage anxiety as well as offers tips to how to help a child in crisis according to their current stage of development.
The mission of Dorchester School District Two's Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program is to nurture and cultivate the learning potential of academically gifted and talented students by offering specialized curricula and instructional experiences that are responsive to students' individual learning and intellectual strengths.
