Dorchester District Two utilizes ParentSquare as our official school-to-home communication platform.

This unified communications platform offers built-in, real-time translation and is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection. It provides a safe and secure way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, parents, and students (in grades 6-12) to:

• send and receive district, school, class, and/or extracurricular activity information; 

• send and receive direct messages (student-to-student communication is disabled);

• share pictures and files;

• see calendar items;

• sign up to volunteer;

• schedule parent-teacher conferences;

• sign forms, such as field trips permission slips and lab safety contracts;

• and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

PowerSchool is the source of student and parent/guardian information used by ParentSquare. When a student is enrolled in Dorchester District Two, parents and guardians who are identified in PowerSchool as having custodial rights are automatically provided with access to ParentSquare using the contact information on file. 

Custodial parents and guardians may request that additional individuals receive access to ParentSquare. Any additional access is subject to verification and approval by the school administration. Call your student's school for more information.

All district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). With parent/guardian approval, students in grades 6-12 can download the StudentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).
