  • Mission Statement: The Rollings Middle School of the Arts Library will provide the students, faculty, and staff of RMSA with access to rich and relevant resources, research assistance, and fiction and non-fiction texts. The library will promote students' rights to self-select texts for their reading pleasure and will encourage and promote literacy school-wide. The RMSA library will provide a space, both physical and digital, for students to collaborate, connect, and build relationships with text, each other, and themselves.

Feel free to browse our online resources, upcoming events, and help pages. If you have any questions or need help, please email Ms. Bennett (annbennett@dorchester2.k12.sc.us) or stop by the library before school, during ILT, or between classes. We are excited to help you find the books and information you need!

    Library Hours & Procedures:

The library is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each day. Students may visit at any time before 1st period, during ILT, with their ELA class, or at any point during the school day with their teacher's permission.

Students may check out two books at a time for two weeks. There are no late fines, but students will be expected to pay for any book which becomes lost or damaged.

We can help you with computer issues, research, book checkout, and more! Check out our Instagram feed, Upcoming Events page, and the school announcements for new books, events, and programming.
