  • How do students know what they are supposed to do during their eLearning (non F2F school days?)

Students should check their TEAMS for every class, every day.  Students will be visiting their TEAM but not JOINING a TEAM on the ASYNCHRONOUS* instructional days.

    Instructions will be under POSTS.

Are students required to follow the posted bell schedule and login to each class or just complete assignments by due dates?

For organizational and time management purposes, it is recommended that students follow their bell schedules.

There are several ways student attendance may be accounted for while students are learning at home:

    • Complete an attendance form posted in TEAMS daily. Students need to be sure to click on the CORRECT class period.
    • Independent learning assignments* with due dates posted in TEAMS in a post, under files or in the class notebook. Some assignments do not have to be completed during the class period – but require the student to log in any time of the day to complete. .  Please note, some assignments may take several days to complete and other assignments will be required to be completed during the class period.  Be sure to read and follow the instructions from EACH TEACHER in regards to completing assignments.
    • Completing a daily attendance “quiz” with an assignment* given at the end.
    • Students are accountable for submitting the requirements for attendance per the directives given by each teacher.

What if my student is absent?

If a student misses all or part of class, please email the teacher(s) directly and also email the attendance secretary at cveal@dorchester2.k12.sc.us or sdaley@dorchester2.k12.sc.us

Students will be responsible for make-up work and assignments.

What if my student experiences a technology or wifi issue?

If a student misses all or part of class, please email the teacher(s) directly and also email the attendance secretary at cveal@dorchester2.k12.sc.us or sdaley@dorchester2.k12.sc.us

Students will be responsible for make-up work and assignments.

    When are assignments due?

All assignments will have a due date listed.

    Where are the assignments located?

Students will visit each class via TEAMS  (they will not be joining a TEAMS meeting on their e-learning days) and directions will be on the POST page.  Students will be navigating TEAMS and the Class Notebook the same way they have practiced while in class with their teachers.

How will Friday e-Learning days be conducted?

Your student will engage in live, on-line sessions from home during the morning with each teacher based on the FRIDAY bell schedule.
