The 2020-2021 school year will be my third year teaching Resource and my second year at Summerville Elementary School. Before teaching in DD2, I taught for 6 years as a self-contained Autism teacher (K-5) at Oak Pointe Elementary in Lexington-Richland 5 and taught middle and high-school aged students with Autism and other developmental disabilities at the Autism Academy of Learning in Toledo, Ohio for 4 years. I grew up in Summerville, graduated from Summerville High School, and I'm so happy to be living in Summerville once more with my two boys & our Beagle, Zelda. I love reading Mo Willems' Pigeon and Piggie & Elephant books with my students!
