Welcome! I am Karen Gillgrist, the Cross Categorical teacher at Eagle Nest Elementary School.  This is my first year teaching at Eagle Nest and I am very excited to be here.  My kids attended here; I know what a special place Eagle Nest is.  Previously, I taught kindergarten through second grade special education.  I have my bachelors in special education and elementary education from Slippery Rock University. Furthermore, I have a masters in special education from Indiana University.  I'm excited to work with you and your child.  I look forward to a great year with each of you.
