HI!! My name is Melissa Parkhurst and I am so excited to be a part of Oakbrook Elementary! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your 4th grade teacher. It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning for 3D!

I have lived in the Summerville area all my life. I graduated from Summerville High School in 1998. I attended Charleston Southern University where I studied Elementary Education and Psychology. 
I have previously taught 1st, 2rd, and 3rd grade!! I have been a part of the Oakbrook family since 2011.
