Our focus on literacy teaches students to seek out information, explore subjects deeply and gain a thorough understanding of the world around them (University of Kansas). On average, eighty-five percent of what you do in any career involves reading, writing, speaking, or listening.

Health and Wellness

We know physical activity has a direct impact on the behavior and development of the brain and impacts cognitive skills such as concentration and attention, as well as the ability to learn and manage stress (Literacy Planet). Furthermore, there is a strong connection between nutrition and mental health (Life and Health Network). Our focus on health and wellness honors our commitment to educating the whole child.

Project-Based Learning

“STEM education is an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to learning that provides hands-on and relevant learning experiences for students. Students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects (Buck Institute). PBL equips them with critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaborative skills, and ultimately establishes connections between the school, the workplace, the community, and the global economy (Science Foundation of Arizona).
