Mrs. Rogers
Mrs. Rogers grew up in Farmingville, NY and graduated from Sachem High School on Long Island in 1990. She then attended SUNY New Paltz where she majored in Business Finance. She moved to Charleston, SC in 1995 where to worked in the banking industry for 11 years. She earned her MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) in Mathematics in 2006 at The Citadel. Mrs. Rogers taught Mathematics in North Charleston High School from 2006—2008. She later became an math teacher at Fort Dorchester High School in 2009.
Mrs. Rogers currently lives in North Charleston, South Carolina with her husband, Travis, and their daughter Lydia. They attend Saint George’s Episcopal Church and are season ticket holders for the South Carolina Stingrays.
Mrs. Rogers’ hobbies center around watching the South Carolina Stingrays (Go Rays!!), playing with her daughter, hanging out with her husband, going shopping, and going to wineries. She and her family enjoy vacationing in the mountains of Georgia and Pennsylvania. She also enjoys international travel and has been to England, Belize and several places in the Caribbean. Germany is the next stop on her bucket list.
