Mr. Johnson was born here in South Carolina and has lived in Charleston his entire life. During high school he spent most of his time outside and developed a love for science. This passion led him to be an exhibit guide at the South Carolina Aquarium and then eventually landed a job in the Sea Turtle Hospital.

Mr. Johnson graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. During his time in college he studied coral reefs abroad, worked in the college greenhouse, and taught different science classes in schools all over the tri-county. 

Mr. Johnson is now here at Fort Dorchester High School teaching Introduction to Engineering and Design as well as Aerospace Engineering. Go Patriots!
