She then attended Appalachian State University for two years and Methodist College for two years from which she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She taught one year of high school before entering the Chemical Manufacturing industry with Rhodia in North Charleston. After nearly six years, she was drawn back to education and taught Medical Assisting classes for adults working toward their Associates degrees. For over eight years, she taught Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Coding, Medical Transcription, Health Information Technology, and more. By entering the PACE program for alternative certification, she came to Fort Dorchester High School in 2011. She completed PACE in June 2014, and has her professional license to teach High School Science. She has taught High School Biology, Zoology, Physical Science, Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry. While teaching at the Fort, she has been working on a Masters in Science Education at College of Charleston.
Mrs. Earley currently lives in Moncks Corner, South Carolina with her loving husband, Joshua, and their two daughters, Elizabeth (9) and Alicia (7). They attend Saint John’s Bethel Baptist Church on a regular basis and are involved in the Vacation Bible School Ministry. They are active in their Sunday School class.
Mrs. Earley’s hobbies center around family, travel, and sports. Her husband is a corn-hole champ and Buckeye Football fanatic. Our favorite places for vacation are warm and sunny with lots of adventure. We also love visiting Boone, NC, home of the App State Mountaineers.
