Ms. Tiffany Beckley
Ms. Beckley is originally from Charleston but lived in Virginia for several years. She grew up in Moncks Corner, SC and spent most of her high school career playing in the band and spending time with friends. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Most of Ms. Beckley’s family either lives around Charleston, Moncks Corner or near Greenville, SC. She has seven children who range in age from 16 to 5.
At JMU, Ms. Beckley pursued a major in Mathematics and a minor in music. During her time at JMU, Ms. Beckley was part of the James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes, and was able to visit many places in Europe while on tour with the band. After earning her undergraduate in Mathematics at JMU, Ms. Beckley started teaching in VA. She moved to Moncks Corner to teach at her former high school, Berkeley High School. She eventually came to Fort Dorchester for a while before leaving to take care of her children. She has one son who is a junior here at The Fort, one son at RMSA, and a daughter at WHAIES.
This is her first year at FDHS in many years. She has taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, HSAP remediation, and Math Tech classes. Outside of school, she enjoys singing with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus, travelling, and hanging out with her family. She especially loves going to high school football games, and will usually be found at a game on Friday nights.
