Mrs. Amy Zion Spivey

Hello parents!!  My name is Amy Spivey and I have been in education for 20 years.  This is my first year at Newington Elementary.  I have taught in Lexington School District 2, Horry County, Lexington-Richland School District 5, and Valdosta City Schools in Valdosta, Georgia.  I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade and was a Literacy Coach for a year.   I am married to a football coach and have three beautiful boys!  They play baseball, soccer and football.  We are a very busy family, but I love every second!  Being a teacher was always a dream of mine.  Teaching children is my passion and I strive every day to help my students succeed.  You will be amazed how much your child will grow this year. I am looking forward to a great year.  Welcome to my class and welcome to THIRD GRADE!!!!
