Welcome 1F Families!

My name is Marguerite Vidakovich and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2018-19 scool year. This year starts my first full year at Eagle Nest Elementary. I am looking forward to working with your child and to a school year filled with a lot of learning and fun.

I like to share some information about myself. I  relocated from the west Texas city of El Paso. I was employed with the El Paso Independent School District for eleven years as a first grade teacher. I began my career with the district as a monolingual teacher. Nine years ago I was one of a handful of teachers who started the Dual Language program in the district. I was the English teacher in a two -teacher model Dual Language classroom.

Over the years I have worked as a classroom volunteer, Art Club teacher, Sunday School teacher, Cub Scout/ Boy Scout assistant den leader and a substitute teacher. I truly enjoy working with young children.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, City University of New York and a Master of Education degree from the University of Phoenix.

A little personal information; I am married and I have three have adult children along with four fur babies.. My husband’s military career took our family all over the United States; New York, Washington, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Arizona, and Texas.
