Welcome to 5th Grade ELA! My name is Elisabeth Lawrence.  I am a graduate of Summerville High School.  Following high school, I earned a BS degree at the College of Charleston in elementary education and a MEd in early childhood education.  In addition,  I have my Gifted and Talented Education teaching endorsement.  This is my twenty-fourth year in education.  Athough I have a variety of different grade levels and teaching experiences in other schools, I have been a teacher at Eagle Nest Elementary since the school opened in 2007.  I have been teaching fifth grade language arts for the past past six years, and this is my fourth year teaching GATE.  Teaching reading is my passion.

    If you do not feel comfortable going out into public, I have uploaded the student work packet to my Class Dojo page.  

    If you choose to upload and print your own packets, you will need to purchase or download a copy of Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.
