Welcome to the new website! All class related information can be found on Unified Classroom as of 10/19/18. Have a great day!
Thanks for taking a moment to learn about me! I’m originally from Missouri and lived in Indiana then Missouri again, but moved to South Carolina in 2017. I earned my B.S. in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Missouri State University in 2002. I got to spend time working as a chiropractic assistant, a park ranger, and at a science museum! Then I decided to pursue an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Missouri—Columbia, which I achieved in 2006. I taught for a while and had a few kids and earned my M.S. in General Biology from Mississippi State University. I’ve taught high school biology and dual credit biology and human anatomy in mid-Missouri for 12 years. I’ve recently taught high school biology and marine science at Baptist Hill High School. And I also adjunct at Trident Technical College!
I spend most of my spare time with my husband and three children. Family means a lot to me and you’ll hear about and see my children around sometimes! I love being outdoors, but the SC state bird, the mosquito has been attacking me since moving here.
I look forward to a great year and am excited to expand my teaching horizons to include middle school!
