Mr. Norman Howard

Norman is so excited for this opportunity to be a part of the teaching staff here at Gregg Middle. He has taught and performed up and down the East Coast for almost 20 years. Norman grew up in Virginia, and started taking class at the age of 17. He soon fell in love with everything about the arts and decided to make a career out of it. As well as dancing, Norman also is an actor and a singer. He went to Shenandoah University in Winchester Virginia where in the year 2000 he received his BFA in musical theater. For six years Norman performed at Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He was the choreographer for the world premiere show of Jonah. After moving back to Myrtle Beach in 2012, Norman landed the roles of the MC and King at Medieval Times. He is also a two time champion for the dancing with the Horry County stars. Some of Norman's favorite musical theater roles include Curly in Oklahoma, Bernardo in West Side Story, and Conrad Birdie in Bye-Bye Birdie. Norman has worked with Dance Masters of America and has choreographed for the Theatre of the Republic in Conway. Norman is grateful for every opportunity he has been given. Much love to his son Elijah and talented wife Shannon.
