My name is Scott Stevenson. I am a Business Instructor here at Ashley Ridge. I currently teach Business Finance, Business Entrepreneurship, and Integrated Business Applications. This is my ninth year as a teacher. In addition to my teaching responsibiilties, I coach Boys' and Girls' Varsity Golf at AR.

I am a Charleston native and a graduate of Garrett High School. I have a BS in Marketing from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from The Citadel. Before I became a teacher, I was a Regional Sales Manager for Unilever, and an owner of Silpro, Inc., a rubber goods manufacturer, located in North Charleston. My wife is in year 38 as an ELA teacher in Berkeley County, and our son is a junior at USC.

As a second career instructor, I am able to bring my 25 years of business experience to the classroom. I enjoy working with young people and giving them insight into the world of business, and maybe even encouraging some to consider business as a career!
