River Oaks Middle School has transitioned to Distance Learning beginning March 18^th through March 31^st. During this time, I will have office hours Monday – Friday from 10:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-3:00pm where I will be available to check and respond to any email correspondence. 

Student Learning Packets are available to all ROMS students, specified by grade level. These packets can also be accessed under the Class Files & Handouts link, as well as on the main page of the ROMS website.

Welcome to Ms. Horne’s class website.  I am so excited to be your math teacher this year.  I am in my 20^th year in education.  All of those years have been teaching middle school math, 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade all levels.  I started my career in Greenville County Schools in the upstate of South Carolina.  In the middle of my third year we relocated to Charleston.  In the time I have been in the Charleston area I have taught in Charleston, Berkeley, and most recently Dorchester District 2.  I have been at River Oaks Middle School since we opened in 2007.  In all that time I have taught 8^th grade math, Algebra I, 7^th grade math, 6^th grade math, and Geometry Honors.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.  Have a great 8^th grade year!
