Welcome to our 7th Grade ELA and English 1 website! I look forward to enhancing and engaging you and your student's learning this year through meaningful class discussions, creative writing opportunities, and engaging enrichment activities! I am originally from Buffalo, NY. I have lived in the Lowcountry for the past 15 years! I have been teaching in Dorchester District 2 for 15 as well! This is my fifth year at Alston Middle! I am Highly Qualified in ELA for grades 5-9. I have experience in both 7th grade ELA, GATE, 8th Grade ELA, and English 1. I look forward to instilling a love of learning in my students, creating life-long learners! I look forward to working with both parents and students this year as we navigate through new waters during this historical time!
