Hi, my name is Ms. Hunter(I used to be Ms. House)! I am so excited to be your teacher at Alston Middle School. I’m originally from Turner, Maine. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Maine at Farmington. I taught in Maine for 2 years and in North Carolina for 4 years. This is my 16th  year at AMS!

I have 2 children and 1 dog.  My son Ethan is a sophomore at ARHS.  My daughter will be a freshman who is at Winthrop University.

My goal is to make our classroom a happy, safe, and a fun place to learn. I have high expectations for all of my students to show academic growth throughout the year!
