I grew up in Dallas, Texas.  I went  to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas after high school. I finished my English degree at Lander University in Greewood, SC.  After my BA, I attended Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and received my MEd.  Finally, I went to the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC and received my MLIS in Library and Information Science.  

I am very happy to be at SHS!  I look forward to a great year with you.
