• Track    From the SHS Athletics Department:     Summerville Track and Field Conditioning will begin on Tuesday January 15th at 4:15-5:30 (please have ride to pick you up on time) at the high-school track. Pleasehave everything uploaded and approved to Planet High school (PHYSICAL, PARENT PERMISSION, and CONCUSSION FORM) before you come out or you will be sent home. Please dress for the weather and listen to announcements just in case we have to cancel. All instructions on how to upload will be on the summervilleathletics.com web page.

     

  • softball 2019 RMSA Lady Knights Softball Tryouts    - Gahagan Softball Field #4

    • Open to all 7th & 8th grade girls.
    • Please bring filled water bottle & personal softball equipment to the try-out.
    • All physicals, permission slips, and other forms, must be completed in Planet High School.
    • Dress appropriately for the weather.
    • Monday, February 4th (5:15pm – 7:30pm)
    • Tuesday, February 5th (5:15pm – 7:30pm)

    • Boys Basketball practice schedule: Sunday - Wednesday starting at 4:15 PM.
    • Girls Basketball practice (gym):  Monday - Thursday from 6:15 - 7:45 PM.
    • Wrestling practice schedule (cafeteria): Monday, Wednesday - Friday from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.  (Speak to coach about holiday exclusions.)

     

  • Activities at RMSA:

    Robotics Team will compete on Saturday, November 17 at River Oaks Middle School starting at 7:30 AM. Come on out and support the team!

    Quest Team: QUEST is Trident Technical College's annual academic competiation developed to promote academic excellence, provide an academic challenge to students, and recognize top students, teachers and schools.  This day-long competition will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Students compete in mathematics, science, social studies, composition, pubic speaking and visual arts.  Tryouts were held in November.

    The National Junior Art Honor Society inspires and recognizes students with an outstanding ability and keen interest in the visual arts. NJAHS is a service organization for visual arts students who meet eligibility criteria for membership (which is based on performance in their visual art core).  The NJAHS completes several service projects each year.  In the past we have designed and painted murals in 4 public venues and contributed to various community events.  So far in 2018 -2019, NJAHS members have contributed to the Summerville Rotary Oktoberfest and the Summerville Junior Service League Scarecrow on the Square.

    The Knight Squad:  Co-ed group whose mission is to promote school spirit and support sporting events and student athletes.
