2026 Canva Challenge Information
About the Postcard Challenge
Students in grades K-12 are invited to participate in a Canva Design Challenge. This year, we are excited to partner with Dorchester County Parks and Recreation. Their website is linked in Step #1 of the challenge procedure, which is located below.
Students will discover local parks, create a digital postcard in Canva, and connect their community by inspiring others to explore and enjoy Dorchester County. One winning design will be selected from each school.
Winning postcards may be printed and distributed at Dorchester County Parks, sharing student creativity with the entire community. They will also be featured on the district website and the school's Schoology page.

2026 Canva Challenge Requirements
Purpose: Create a postcard in Canva to promote parks and outdoor activities in Dorchester County.
Audience: Families, local community members, and visitors will see your design.
Role: Be a graphic designer!
Task: Design the front side of a postcard in Canva using the challenge template. (Do not add anything to page 2 of the design.)
Situation: Encourage people to explore the outdoors!
Student Instructions
- Remember to use Canva Elements and Brand Kit only.
- Think like a graphic designer as you create your unique design.
