Report Card
Dorchester School District Two’s high-quality schools continue to earn top marks on the South Carolina Annual State Report Card for the 2022-2023 school year.
Highlights from this year’s SC Report Card include:
Eleven DDTwo schools earned an Excellent Overall Rating:
- Ashley Ridge High School
- Beech Hill Elementary School
- Fort Dorchester Elementary School
- Fort Dorchester High School
- Knightsville Elementary School
- Rollings Middle School of the Arts
- Sand Hill Elementary School
- Spann Elementary School
- Summerville Elementary School
- William M. Reeves Elementary School
- Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School
Of the remaining schools, nine earned a Good Overall Rating and five earned an Average Overall Rating. No DDTwo school received a Below Average or Unsatisfactory Overall Rating.
While the District did see a slight drop in its overall Graduation Rate from 93.3% in 2022 to 92.4% in 2023, preliminary reports indicate that DDTwo’s graduation rate continues to rank in the top 10 in SC. Fort Dorchester High School achieved a district record-breaking Graduation Rate of 94.8%.
More DDTwo seniors were eligible for both Life Scholarships as well as Palmetto Fellows Scholarships than the previous year. Additionally, the percentage of students from the prior year graduating class who enrolled in a two- or four-year college or technical college increased from 62.8% to 68.6%.
"Our outstanding performance reflects the dedication and tireless efforts of our staff and educators who consistently go above and beyond to support our students' success,” said Superintendent Dr. Shane Robbins. “We will continue to raise the bar and to provide the high-quality education our families expect.”
