Athletics

It is the mission of Dorchester School District Two athletics to foster the development of interscholastic student-athletes, both on and off the playing fields in a manner that is consistent with the high school’s mission.

We will promote individual student athlete growth by combining strong athletic competition and high academic standards with an overall emphasis on the emotional and physical development of our student-athletes through athletic competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Dorchester School District Two athletics earn the trust and respect of alumni and fans by graduating student athletes, striving for excellence, and competing with integrity. Our athletic programs will promote interscholastic athletics that provide lifelong learning experiences to student-athletes while enhancing their achievement of educational goals. Dorchester School District Two student-athletes work hard to achieve success at their league and state levels. We realize that developing a well-rounded individual who proudly represents his or her community is just as important as winning.

Interscholastic Sports Participation is for any Home School student that wants to participate in sports in DDTwo. The criteria are they play at the DDTwo school they are zoned for and attend a Home School Association that is approved by the South Carolina Department of Education. If you have any questions please contact Jenene Gourdine.
