Three Cheers for Dr. Robinson and Mr. Dugan!

The Board of Trustees met on April 13, 2026 to approve two principals for the 2026-2027 school year: Dr. Jennifer Robinson at Dr. Eugene Sires Elementary School and Mr. Jonathan Dugan at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School.

Dr. Jennifer Robinson, who currently serves as Assistant Principal at Dr. Eugene Sires Elementary School (ESES) since 2021, has 14 years of experience in education. Her previous roles have included Assistant Principal at William Reeves Elementary School (2020-2021); Assistant Principal at Andrews Elementary School (2018-2020); and Elementary Teacher in Georgetown County School District (2012-2018).

A graduate of Coastal Carolina University (CCU), Dr. Robinson earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2012. She later earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership at CCU in 2016, followed by an Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology in 2017. In 2024, she completed her Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership also from CCU.

“Stepping into the role of Principal is both exciting and humbling,” said Dr. Robinson. “This transition means a great deal to me—not just professionally, but personally. I truly care about our school community and the relationships that make it so special. I look forward to continuing to build strong connections, supporting our students as they grow, and working alongside our incredible staff and families. I’m thankful for the trust that’s been placed in me and excited to keep growing with our Sires community. I can’t wait to see all that we’ll accomplish together.”

Outside of school, Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She serves as a Youth Director at church to support and mentor young people beyond the school setting. In addition, Dr. Robinson serves on the Board of Visitors for the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal Carolina University where she helps prepare future educators to meet the needs of students and communities.

 

Jonathan Dugan

Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School

 

Mr. Jonathan Dugan, who currently serves as Assistant Principal at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School since 2023, has 15 years of experience in education. His previous roles have included Assistant Principal Intern at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School and Knightsville Elementary School (2022-2023); Fourth Grade teacher at Flowertown Elementary School (2021-2022); and Math Interventionist and teacher in first through fourth grades in Charleston County School District and Wilson County School District (2011-2021).

A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Dugan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics in 2011. He later earned a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University in 2016.

"I am truly honored to serve as the Principal of Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School,” said Mr. Dugan. “It is a privilege to support the incredible students, dedicated staff, and families who make Windsor Hill such an exceptional community. I look forward to building upon our shared successes and continuing the tradition of excellence."

Outside of school, Dugan enjoys spending time with his family, raising five sons, four of whom are currently Dorchester District Two students. He greatly appreciates the significant impact DDTwo has on his family.
