We also celebrated outstanding achievements within our schools:
📚 William M. Reeves Jr. Elementary School – Congratulations to media specialist Malinda Schurlknight, recipient of the 2025 Palmetto State Teachers Association Classroom Grant! This award will allow her to purchase two sets of novels to grow her book club.

🎓 Ashley Ridge High School – A round of applause for Hope Thornton, who was awarded the prestigious Engineers Alliance for the Arts 2025 Chen Family Scholarship Grant! Hope participated in the 2025 Student Impact Project and stood out among students preparing for careers in engineering, design, or construction. This $1,000 merit-based scholarship is awarded to just five students nationwide each year and supports those from underrepresented populations pursuing higher education in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) fields.

👏 Join us in celebrating Malinda and Hope for their accomplishments and thanking the Foundation for its continued commitment to innovation and opportunity in DDTwo!
