Best Place to Work

Dorchester School District Two stands out as a beacon of excellence in the field of education, not only for its dedication to academic achievement but also for its prioritization of employee satisfaction and well-being. The district's leadership understands that fostering a positive workplace culture is paramount to attracting and retaining top talent, ultimately benefiting both staff and students alike.
Superintendent Dr. Robbins said, “We are a premier school district that provides our students a high-quality education and that is due to the people who choose to work in our school district. In this challenging landscape where everyone is competing for quality employees, we must do our best to provide those who choose to work at DDTwo the best climate and culture possible. Recruiting and Retention is much easier when people love coming to work.&rdquo

The accolade reflects Dorchester School District Two's ongoing initiatives to promote professional development, work-life balance, and employee engagement. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, including mentorship programs, wellness initiatives, and opportunities for career advancement, the district empowers its staff to reach their full potential and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Schoneke Summerhill, 2023-2024 District Teacher of the Year, said “Dorchester District Two is the best place to work because our district is committed to providing our students with a world-class education. The district is invested in preparing our students for future success. Our schools create a safe and nurturing culture and climate for all learners. We also promote strong community partnerships which grant our students learning opportunities beyond the classroom walls.”
Dorchester School District Two remains committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence as it continues to lead the way in education.
