Our 2025 Teachers of the Year exemplify the dedication, passion, and innovation that make our schools outstanding places of learning. Their unwavering commitment to student success and their ability to inspire, challenge, and support every learner is truly remarkable. We are grateful for their hard work and the lasting impact they leave on our students, schools, and community. Congratulations to these outstanding educators on this well-deserved recognition!

— Superintendent Dr. Shane Robbins

The selected teachers will submit nomination packets to a district committee, and five honor teachers will be chosen. A committee of community members will select the 2025 Dorchester School District Two Teacher of the Year from among the five honor teachers. All Teachers of the Year will be honored at a district celebration in May during Teacher Appreciation Week when the District Teacher of the Year will be announced. This teacher will then vie for the South Carolina Teacher of the Year with representatives from other school districts.
