These outstanding educators have surpassed the standard in fostering a positive, healthy school environment, advocating for students, and creating innovative programs to advance student achievement in and out of the classroom.

Superintendent Dr. Shane Robbins praised the nominees, stating, “Our school counselors play a vital role in ensuring our students receive the support and guidance they need to thrive. These semi-finalists exemplify the dedication and passion that define our district, and we are honored to recognize their valuable contributions.”

A district committee completed interviews this week. The District Counselor of the Year will be recognized on February 24th at the Board of Trustees meeting.
