5th Graders: Apply to Audition for Rollings Middle School of the Arts

Current fifth grade students residing within the Dorchester School District Two boundaries can apply to audition for the opportunity to attend the Rollings Middle School of the Arts for the 2024-2025 school year.

Rollings is a school for the fine and performing arts for artistically inclined students in grades six, seven, and eight. Guided by the expertise of Rollings’ educators, students develop their talents in the core arts areas of band, dance, piano, string orchestra, theatre arts, visual art, and vocal music.

Students are required to audition before registering at Rollings. Approximately 280 students will be accepted for next year’s sixth grade class. 

The deadline to complete the application is Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Register to Audition

Auditions for Rollings will be held on Saturdays in the month of January. Audition times will be communicated following the end of the registration period.
