    SENIORS don’t forget to turn in copies of ANY & ALL Scholarship and Merit Based money offers that you have received from colleges or programs.  We want this information whether you accepted the offer or not.  Merit Based offers and Scholarships will be posted beside your name in the Graduation Program.  Get those in asap!  You can make copies of send them in email to your School Counselor.

  • McKissick Endowment Scholarship

    The 2021 McKissick Endowment Scholarship is open for applications.  Eligible applicants will be:

    ·        Seniors who played Varsity Football

    ·        Accepted at a college or prep school

    ·        Demonstrated good citizenship

    ·        Athlete who have received FULL ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS from their college are not eligible to apply. 

    NOTE:  There is a quick turn- around time for this scholarship application.  Completed applications and required recommendations must be turned in to Mrs. Toliver by the end of the school day on May 10, 2021.

  • Omega Psi Phi Scholarship

    Omega Psi Phi Fraternity is excited to announce their Mu Alpha Spring Essay Scholarship Competition. The essay competition is open to all college-bound, 2021 high school graduates.

    The recipient of the 1st place winning essay will be awarded a $1000.00 college scholarship from the Mu Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The recipient of the 2nd place winning essay will be awarded a $500.00 college scholarship from the Mu Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi fraternity, Inc.

    Attached you will find the scholarship competition application form, which includes all official eligibility, submission requirements, and awards criteria. The essay scholarship submission must be fully completed and submitted by May 31, 2021 for consideration.  The essay must be submitted electronically or via the postal postmarked no later than the deadline date.  The title for the essay must be the following; 

    2021 Essay Title: “What has been the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on your education; How has your educational future, and that of your peers, been affected?”

  • Gamma Zeta Chapter Scholarship

    The 2021 Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Gamma Zeta Chapter Scholarship application is now open to female seniors planning to enter college in the  fall.  See the attachments for scholarship details.  Completed applications can be returned to Mrs. Toliver for mailing to provider prior to June 18, 2021.  After June 18th, applicants must submit directly to the scholarship provider at the address provided on the application.  Transcripts for applications being mailed by the student can be obtained from Mrs. Toliver in the School Counseling office.    The “received By” deadline for all materials is July 9, 2021

    The 2021 Cruise Control Driving School Scholarship is now open for application.  Applications can be printed from this link or picked up on the rack in the School Counseling office.  Completed application and all required supplements should be turned in to Mrs. Toliver by May 7. 2021.

  • Society of Women Engineers Scholarship

    The Society of Women Engineers is offering up to three scholarships of $2500 each to graduating senior in the Tri-County area.  Eligibility details and the application are attached.  Completed applications and required supplemental information must be submitted electronically at: SCHOLARSHIP@SWELOWCOUNTRY.ORG  The submission deadline is May 14, 2021.
