Meet Ms. Opitz

 

 

My name is Tracy Opitz and this is my second year teaching at Eagle Nest Elementary. I moved to South Carolina about 6 years ago. I graduated from Lander University in 2007 where I majored in special education.  While I was in college I was trained in Applied/ Verbal Behavior Analysis. I am open minded, dedicated, patient, and creative at times. I love my job and feel there is no greater reward then helping a child succeed. I try my best to do all I can to meet each of my students individual needs.

I have a wonderful fiancé named Matt and we will be getting married in November. We live in Goose Creek and have a Great Dane named Bentley.  He is a great dog. I enjoy playing soccer and will be coaching the JV girl’s soccer team at Fort Dorchester High School in the spring. My favorite color is purple.
