All About Me

My name is Rebekah Blacklocke. I have lived in the South Carolina lowcountry all of my life.  I attended Berkeley county schools and attained my Bachelors degree from The College of Charleston.  Currently, I am working on my Masters Degree at the Citadel.  I have a husband named Mark who teaches and coaches at West Ashley High School and a brand new baby girl named Avery who was born in July 2007.  We also have two cats named Lucy and Lexi.  I have been teaching for a total of 5 years and this is my fourth year at Oakbrook.  My family loves football season. We support the West Ashley Wildcats, Clemson Tigers, and the Citadel Bulldogs.  I enjoy working with fourth and fifth graders and hope that they will become lifelong learners and love reading!
