I was born and raised in the small town of Wakefield, Michigan near Lake Superior. I am one of 10 children and love snow!!

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Michigan University and my Master In Education from The Citadel. I have been teaching for 25 years all of which have been in the area of special education and at the middle school level. I enjoy working with my students within a small group setting, which allows me to help them more individually.
