Welcome to Math 7. I look forward to working with my students, parents, fellow teachers, administrators, and other school staff members. The main goal of instruction is to provide students with a strong background for formal algebra and geometry instruction. Five strands are incorporated into the curriculum: Numbers and Operations/Numerical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Probability, Measurement, Geometry, and Algebra.
Students must attend class regularly and complete work. Those who miss class should make up incomplete work promptly. Extra help for students is available by appointment before school. Your child should accept responsibility for being properly prepared for class. Homework is assigned daily. Assessments will be given throughout the course.
