DANCE DRESS CODE

Proper attire is required to move freely and avoid injury.  Points will be deducted for improper attire.  School dress code rules still apply.  If you are not sure if you can wear something, bring it in for approval.  Students may leave clothes in their class bin in the dance room.  Anything left in the locker room is the student’s responsibility.  I do not recommend leaving personal items in the locker room.

What You Can Wear

Form fitting and movable clothes:  T-shirts, sweatpants, stretch Capri pants, stretch pants, yoga pants, dance attire including leotards/tights, etc. 

What You Can’t Wear

Jeans of any kind, mini-shorts, skirts, baggy clothes, large jewelry, midriffs.

*Students should keep supplies in the dance room.

STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN PERFORMANCE

Girls—Pink dance slippers

Boys—Black dance shoes or socks

 

*After School Dance Ensemble:  ensemble shirt & black pants
