International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Fort Dorchester High School

Creativity, Action, and Service

CAS is an opportunity for you to serve your local and global community and also for you to grow and try new things. You can start earning your CAS hours as soon as you finish your sophomore year of high school. Keep a log (try an excel spreadsheet) and keep up with evaluations to make the process less difficult. You will need an adult signature for each activity or project, but the signature can be on any kind of paper. Get a supervisor to sign a napkin at a picnic you help organize and attach that to your evaluation -- that's all you need!

Our CAS coordinator will be more than glad to supply you with a CAS form, answer your questions, help you organize a group activity, or nearly anything else.

The diploma class of 2010 has different requirements for CAS than the diploma class of 2009, due to changes in the CAS program.  Please make sure you are accessing the resources for your diploma class!
