1. What are the hours of operation of Flowertown Elementary School Library Media Center?

 

The library is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

 

2. How many books can children check out?

 

Children can access the library media center throughout the school day, every day.  After library orientation, all students will begin to check out books.  Kindergarten children may check out one book per library visit.

 

First grade students may check out one book per visit until January

when they will be permitted to check out two books per visit.

 

Second through fifth graders can check out two books at a time. 

 

All children may renew books as needed.

 

3. What should be done if a child loses or damages a book?

            

Lost or damaged books will have to be paid for before children can check out other books.  If lost books that have been paid for are

returned, in good condition, all payments/monies will be refunded.
