           Library Media Center

—to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages children to view the library media center as an exciting place to visit

 

—to function as an integral part of the school’s instructional program by collaborating with teachers to address standards and by providing resources that support the curriculum and satisfy student interests and academic needs

 

—to lay the foundation for children to become effective users of ideas and information as well as lifelong readers and learners

 

—to assist students, faculty, staff and the learning community in locating  needed resources
