A love for choral music led me to earn a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As an elementary music teacher, I discovered a love for working with young children. After earning a Masters in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston, I taught Child Development. In 1995 I accepted the opportunity to teach music at SES, where I had already worked as a parent volunteer while my children attended and as a substitute music teacher. So I knew that SES was a great place to be!! |
